Accessibility Statement

Gnutti Carlo S.p.A. is committed to making this website as accessible and usable as possible for all people, regardless of ability or technology used.

Accessibility is an ongoing process: for this reason, we regularly monitor the website through automated tools and technical checks in order to identify and correct any issues.

This statement describes our approach and our current level of compliance with the main international reference standards (WCAG 2.1 – Level AA).

Current Compliance Status

The website is undergoing continuous improvement.

Some elements may not yet be fully compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Non-compliant areas are listed in the Accessibility Report automatically generated by our verification system.

Verification Methodology

The assessment, as required by EU Implementing Decision 2018/1523, is carried out through:

  • periodic automated analysis performed using a tool based on Google Lighthouse / PageSpeed Insights;
  • technical checks on the main pages of the website manually carried out by Gnutti Carlo S.p.A.;
  • progressive manual checks.

Commitment to Improvement

We are constantly committed to updating the website, correcting detected non-conformities, and optimizing the browsing experience for all users.

Update activities are planned and implemented based on the annual report and the feedback received.

The critical areas identified, along with the related reasons, are listed below.

1. Disproportionate burden

The complete adaptation of some parts of the website would involve excessive organizational, financial, and technical burdens compared to the resources currently available. Gnutti Carlo S.p.A. nevertheless undertakes to progressively improve accessibility.

2. Third-party content

Some elements (maps, external widgets, embedded content) are provided by third parties and cannot be directly modified by the owner. We are committed to seeking alternative solutions and reporting the need for improvements to suppliers.

Accessibility status detected by the system

Estimated compliance status: Non-compliant (estimated)

Website: Gnutti Carlo
Date of statement: 2026-05-07

Main WCAG criteria not fully satisfied

1. Names and labels

  • Some images do not contain the alt attribute, preventing screen readers from describing their content.
  • Some links do not have a distinguishable or descriptive name, making it difficult for users of assistive technologies to understand their purpose.

2. ARIA

  • There are elements with aria-hidden="true" containing interactive or focusable descendants.
  • This configuration may create navigation issues for users relying on screen readers or keyboard navigation.

3. Color contrast

  • In some sections, the contrast between text and background is insufficient.
  • This reduces content readability, especially for visually impaired users.

4. Accessibility best practices

  • Some touch targets (buttons/links) are too small or too close together.
  • The document does not contain a main landmark (main), useful for assistive navigation.
  • Identical links are present that do not clearly communicate the same purpose.

5. Navigation and semantic structure

  • The hierarchy of headings (H1-H6) does not follow a correct sequential order.
  • This may compromise page structure understanding for screen readers and keyboard navigation.

Improvement plan

Gnutti Carlo S.p.A. undertakes to:

  • Plan priority interventions for the listed issues.
  • Monitor third-party content and request improvements from suppliers whenever possible.

Additional information on accessibility support systems

We are integrating the Iubenda WayWidget accessibility widget to provide users with additional tools for personalizing their browsing experience. This module allows users to adapt the website to their needs by increasing readability, managing contrast, modifying text size, and enabling other useful functions, making the user experience more inclusive.

The widget represents a complementary support to the technical optimizations of the website and does not replace the activities of verification, correction, and continuous accessibility improvement according to WCAG/AGID guidelines.
